Recommendations for Tanning Bed

Before you decide to use our tanning bed, it is important to determine your own skin type first for a proper advice. Please take into account the tips and rules that we consider essential for your safety, body and health if you do decide to tan.

There are  4 skin types:

Skin Type 1

People with skin type 1 burn very quickly and unfortunately do not turn brown. They have very light skin, often many freckles, red or light blonde hair and blue eyes.

Advice: Do NOT use the tanning bed at all! It is harmful to your skin type.

Skin Type 1

Skin Type 2

Skin type 2 burns less quickly than skin type 1. If you have this skin type, you will slowly tan. External characteristics are: light skin, blond hair and gray, green or light brown eyes. Your skin will slowly, but certainly turn brown and you will burn quickly.

Advice: Short session of max. 10 minutes.

Skin Type 2

Skin Type 3

Do you have dark blond to brown hair and (dark) brown eyes? Then you have skin type 3. Your skin is probably (slightly) tinted and you tan more easily, but you won’t burn quickly.

Advice: Tanning session of max. 10 to 15 minutes.

Skin Type 3

Skin Type 4

You naturally have dark tinted skin, dark hair and dark brown eyes. Your skin tans easily, but you won’t burn quickly or hardly never.

Advice: Tanning session of max. 15 to 20 minutes.
